My bottle of perpetuem...I had a similar experience. My bottle of perpetuem popped out of my bike either on a crash I took at mile 4.5 on a sharp right turn or hitting one of those rough squares in the road around the manhole covers. The first 3 or so miles were into the wind so when we turned around, running about the same speed as the wind caused overheating really quickly.
